When you see this sign you are approaching Wainuioru School, a decile 9 country school situated only 12 minutes east of Masterton in the Wairarapa. We have a dedicated group of teachers who are focused on providing programmes to support our students in working towards their potential. Most of our students come from the rural areas surrounding the school. We also have some children who travel in from Masterton.
The work of our teachers is made easier because of our students' positive attitudes towards school. Walk into a classroom at any time of the day and you will see children who are fully engaged in their learning. Having three classrooms with small numbers of students means that we are able to focus on and meet the individual needs of every child.
